The Borneo Sevens is committed to fostering environmental awareness within the local community to highlight the importance of sustainability. Fans and participants will be urged to learn about eco-friendly practices and how they can contribute to a cleaner and greener future.
Zero Waste Goals
Adopt a zero-waste policy, as much as feasibly possible. This ambitious target will be supported through comprehensive recycling and composting programs. All waste generated during the tournament, from food packaging to promotional materials, will be meticulously sorted and processed to minimize environmental impact.
Green Catering
Food and beverage services at the tournament will prioritize local sources, to support sustainable domestic agriculture. Food waste will be composted for other uses.
