For fitness enthusiasts, we are proud to introduce FORGE – Hybrid Endurance Race, an official extra event held in conjunction with the Borneo Sevens in collaboration with BCG Fitness Labuan and Hustle Fitness Kota Kinabalu.
FORGE is a structured individual hybrid endurance race designed to test aerobic capacity, muscular endurance, pacing strategy, and mental resilience. Athletes will complete a standardized race format combining short run segments with functional strength stations including SkiErg, sled push, sandbag carries, and kettlebell movements.
The event will feature:
- Individual Men’s and Women’s divisions
- 4 athletes per wave (2 men, 2 women)
- Estimated race duration: 40–60 minutes per athlete
- Fixed, standardized loads (no scaling)
- Total participation capacity: approximately 80–100 athletes across all divisions
- Prize pool: RM3,000
- Official FORGE event T-shirt and finisher patch for all registered athletes
